Waterproof compartments
Pakesso with skeg, composite Fjord with skeg, Fjell with skeg, Fjell with rudder, Ellesmere, Labrador with rudder and Labrador with skeg, Sedna, Baffin, Epsilon
| These kayaks feature compartments that are among the driest on the market, owing to covers that have made entirely of rubber. To prevent their loss, you will note that the covers are attached by a cord strung beneath the deck. |

The waterproof compartments are designed to protect your gear and serve as extra floatation in case your craft overturns. They add buoyancy to your kayak and prevent it from submerging. Personal effects stored in the compartments should always be placed in dry bags for extra floatation in case you lose or break a cover. |
| To open a cover, grasp one end and pull gently. When closing, ensure that the waterproof seal is properly positioned under the rim of the compartment. Check by pressing lightly around the edge. |

A practical day hatch is available as an option in some models. It is located on the starboard (right) side behind the paddler, but it may be custom installed on the port (left) side. The day hatch is equipped with a rubber cover 20 cm (8 in) in diameter, which is attached by a cord strung beneath the deck.
