Saguenay

The Saguenay is an expedition kayak with more storage space thanks to its contoured cover and neoprene seal.

The waterproof compartments are designed to protect your gear and serve as extra flotation in case your craft overturns. They add buoyancy to your kayak and prevent it from submerging. Personal effects stored in the compartments should always be placed in dry bags for extra flotation in case you lose or break a cover.

The neoprene cover prevents water from entering the compartment. It must be pulled taut and all stitching must be hidden under the compartment rim. In the event that you pirce or tear the neoprene seal, you can fix it quickly with Aquaseal. Replacement neoprene covers are available. To open the compartments, simply release the fastex buckles by pressing on each side. To seal the compartments, place the neoprene and contoured covers over the opening, reattach the buckle and tichten the strap. Ensure that the cord attaching the cover to the deck is situated above the straps.
