Child seat or bulkhead seat

The child seat may be installed in the Beluga and Esperanto models. This comfortable, cushioned seat is located in the middle compartment. It is raised to allow the child better visibility. The maximum recommended weight is 32 kg (70 lb). Add a small paddle and a few toys and your child will enjoy paddling with you.

The seat creates a fourth bulkhead making the middle compartment waterproof when the cover is installed. This additional bulkhead offers added dry space and reserve floatation when not used as a child seat.

Esperanto child seat

Minicell child seat

This removable child seat is made of high density foam. Velcro attachments hold it in place. It allows a third passenger to be easily carried in the kayak.

This seat is available for the Beluga and the Esperanto.

We strongly advise against having a child aboard in inclement weather conditions. Never attach your child to the seat or kayak. Ensure that the child is wearing a personal floatation device (PFD) adequate for his or her weight.
