Plastic and composite kayaks must be protected from ultraviolet rays in order to protect their colours. What should you do? We recommend the application of a good coat of Protector 303 over the entire surface of your kayak. Repeat the operation several times during the season. You can also coat the seals and rubber compartment covers with Protector 303 to maintain their flexibility. A sample of Protector 303 is included with this guide. Different sized containers are also available.

Additional Precaution
When not in use, store your kayak in a shaded, protected location. Do not expose it to sunlight. Check kayak fittings regularly. Ensure that the screws are tight and the o-rings are securely in place.
